Operations Supervisor

NPG of Oregon Inc., a cluster of television stations that includes NBC, FOX, The CW, and Telemundo affiliates in Bend, Oregon, is accepting applications for an Operation Supervisor.

This position will oversee all on air transmissions for the station and will supervise the Operations department staff. This position is also responsible for training the On-Air Technicians in all aspects of the control room, including directing live newscasts, running/creating graphics for newscast, running the audio board, and master control duties as required, as well as gathering, preparing, and ensuring all programming is ready for air in a timely manner.

Qualified applicants should have a working knowledge of television equipment and understand television satellite recordings, as well as advanced understanding of broadcast workflows. A minimum 2 years of experience in Master Control or similar experience in a broadcast environment. Management/Supervisor experience is preferred. Candidate must have excellent computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft office software. Candidate must have strong analytical and organizational skills and be able to work in a fast paced and ever changing work environment, be a team player, with the ability to also work independently, with little supervision, and have excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills. Applicant should possess above average mobility, with the ability to lift and/or move 50 pounds unassisted.
