Family Access Network receives $7,500 grant

KTVZ

The Family Access Network announced Monday that it received a $7,500 Community Impact Grant from New York Life in support of their FAN advocate services in local schools, which will enable advocates to connect children in need to basic services while keeping them healthy and in school.

The Community Impact Grant program awards grants of up to $25,000 to local nonprofit organizations which are championed by New York Life agents and employees to serve the needs of their local communities.

More than 340 grants totaling nearly $4 million have been awarded to nonprofits across the country since the program’s inception in 2008.

This donation supports the FAN program, which is committed to building a healthy community by alleviating the suffering of children in need. During the 2014-15 school year, FAN advocates improved the lives of nearly 10,000 people in our community.
