Two goats on the lam rounded up in Bend

KTVZ

When two goats on the lam turned up in front of Bend’s Pine Ridge Elementary School on Thursday, a police community service officer was pressed into duty as a goat wrangler.

Officer Crea Lancaster used a good ol’ lasso to round up and rescue the wayward male and female goats at large, said Lt. Clint Burleigh.

“The goats are being held, and we would love to return them to their family,” Burleigh said in a brief news release, accompanied by photos they hope someone will recognize.

If you know who might own them, you’re asked to contact Deschutes County non-emergency dispatch at 541-693-6911.
