Utility work may disrupt Suttle Lake Road traffic

KTVZ

Over the next four to five weeks, the public may experience brief delays and potential traffic congestion on Suttle Lake Loop Road while a power line is installed along the road, officials said.

Central Electric Cooperative will be doing trench work in the roadbed of Suttle Lake Loop Road to replace 11,000 linear feet of 12500-volt underground power line. The work will begin where the road intersects Highway 126 W. and approximately end at the turn to Link Creek campground on Suttle Lake.

The public should be aware of workers in the area and will see flaggers on the road. Though there may be brief delays and some congestion, project managers are not expecting travelers to be significantly impacted.

Following the installment of the power line, Central Electric Cooperative crews will continue working in the area, but traffic should not be affected.

For more information about the details of the project, please contact Jeff Beaman at Central Electric Cooperative.
