Downtown Bend natural gas line work shifting

KTVZ

Cascade Natural Gas crews continue working downtown on their line replacement project this week, with a crew moving into the northwest corner of the Troy Field parking lot Tuesday.

Officials said they’ll begin boring for a new 4-inch main gas line installation, closing Troy Field to parking this entire week.

A Cascade Natural Gas crew will also be in the alley between Bond and Wall streets., on the north side of Minnesota Avenue Tuesday and Wednesday to install a construction valve. The alley will be closed during the day, with limited access for deliveries only.

Motorists should continue to avoid these streets and the alley during construction, but all will be open each evening around 6 p.m.
