Man charged with arson of Portland townhomes
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Officials say a fire that damaged several townhouses in northeast Portland was intentionally set.
The Oregonian/OregonLive reports (http://bit.ly/2e4g97j ) that the Wednesday morning blaze burned three townhomes, displacing at least eight adults and 11 children. No injuries were reported.
Officials say the 34-year-old suspect, Louis Duncan, was arrested that night and charged with first-degree arson.
The displaced residents are being assisted by the Red Cross.
