Redmond PD release Abby’s Pizza holdup photos

KTVZ

Redmond police on Friday released security camera photos of a man who used a handgun to hold up the Abby’s Pizza on Dec. 21, in hopes of finding the robber.

A white male adult wearing a gray vest, black sweatshirt, blue jeans and a distinctive style hat walked into the restaurant around 10 p.m. that night, demanded money from the safe and ran, eluding an extensive police search of the area, authorities said.

The holdup occurred at the pizza parlor at 1938 South Highway 97. Deschutes County District Attorney John Hummel said the lone suspect got away despite a search of the area, which included a Bend Police K-9 team.

Police Lt. Curtis Chambers said police using a K-9 tracked the suspect to an area where it appears a vehicle was parked.

Anyone with information was asked to contact Redmond Police or Deschutes County dispatch at 541-693-6911.
