RDM’s parking may fill up during busy travel season
The Redmond Municipal Airport warned Wednesday that its pay parking lot is very full this spring break week — and may become completely full during the busy spring and summer travel season.
RDM is encouraging travelers to consider using options in lieu of using the pay parking lot. Thy include, but are not limited to, ride-sharing, ground transportation services such as taxi service and vehicles for hire, recruiting friends or family for a ride, or other off-airport overnight parking in legal areas.

The curb at the front of the terminal is for active loading and unloading only. Vehicles are not permitted to wait at the curb. The rental car lot is for rental cars only. Private vehicles are not authorized to enter the Rental Car lot. Curb and rental car lot violations are subject to a $50 citation.
The approved waiting area is the Cell Phone Waiting area, located across the street from the Airport along SW Salmon Avenue.
Paid parking rates at RDM:
· $1.00 for 30 minutes
· 31 plus minutes is $2.00 per hour
· Maximum is $10.00 per day
· 7 th day of consecutive parking is free
· Trailer parking is not accommodated. Trailers are prohibited to park in the pay parking lot.
· The whole pay parking lot is one rate, there is no long or short term parking.
· Motorcycles are prohibited from parking in the pay parking lot. Motorcycle parking is available in a designated area in the Vendor/Cargo parking lot.
RDM encourages passengers to arrive to the airport 90 minutes (1 hour and 30 minutes) prior to departure time to clear through the TSA screening process. Boarding lounge amenities include a children’s play area, a coffee shop, a family friendly restaurant and a full service bar. The restaurant and bar are located upstairs (post security) on the second floor and opens daily at 10 a.m.
