It’s time once again to help ‘CAN Cancer’

KTVZ

CAN Cancer, Community Assistance for Neighbors with Cancer, helps local families manage non-medical expenses, including fuel, travel, and food costs while receiving cancer treatment.

Our communities have raised over $279,400 and helped over 1,000 local patients across Central Oregon!

100% of the money stays local and 100% of funds raised goes to the patients.

This spring, the local garbage haulers will mail out a CAN Cancer envelope in their billing statements asking their customers to help ‘Pitch-In’ and donate.

The group of Central Oregon Garbage Haulers includes Bend Garbage & Recycling, Cascade Disposal, High Country Disposal, Prineville Disposal, Madras Sanitary Service, and Wilderness Garbage.

“If each of our customers could donate even $1 or more, we would raise a substantial amount to go towards helping our neighbors-in-need stay strong,” Corinne Martinez, Wilderness Garbage & Recycling.
