Ex-Woodburn attorney sentenced for public indecency
WOODBURN, Ore. (AP) – A former Woodburn assistant city attorney has been sentenced to 30 days in jail and five years of probation after he was found guilty of two counts of public indecency.
The Marion County District Attorney’s Office said in a news release that Jonathan Stuart was sentenced Thursday.
He was convicted of the misdemeanors by a jury earlier this month after witnesses said he masturbated twice in his office at Woodburn City Hall in 2015.
The District Attorney’s Office said a witness recorded one of the incidents with her cellphone and called police. The attorney’s office says the witness could see the act from a parked car across the street.
The attorney’s office says the indecent exposures happened during business hours and that a child with one of the witnesses saw the crime.
