Police still searching for missing Ashland man
MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) – An Ashland man remains missing a week after he walked away from home.
Media outlets in southern Oregon report 86-year-old Harold Hardesty was last seen walking away from his house on Monday, April 10.
Jackson County Search & Rescue teams searched the property surrounding Hardesty’s home over the weekend. Air searches included use of a helicopter, airplanes and a drone. Crews have also searched nearby Bear Creek.
Hardesty, a former race car driver, was last seen wearing a white knit hat, a black rain jacket, jeans and white shoes. He reportedly has dementia.
