Pair accused of kidnapping, assaulting Portland woman
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Deputies arrested two people accused of kidnapping a 32-year-old Portland woman and holding her in their motor home for nearly 12 hours.
The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office says the woman flagged down help Monday morning in Milwaukie.
She told deputies that Michael Wilkins and Leslie Weeks held her against her will, and she had been gagged, zip-tied and stunned with a Taser. Sgt. Brian Jensen said detectives executed a search warrant on the motor home and seized evidence that supports the victim’s story, including zip-ties and a Taser.
Neither Wilkins nor Weeks has an address. They face charges of robbery, kidnapping, assault and menacing. Bail for each is set at $250,000.
Their broken-down motor home was deemed a hazard and towed away.
