Family Resource Center recently was awarded a continuation grant of $50,000 from Oregon Community Foundation through the Oregon Parenting Education Collaborative.

A non-profit offering evidence based parenting education classes that include dinner and child care, FRC will utilize the funds to strengthen and support family relationships in Crook, Deschutes and Jefferson counties.

Executive Director Dee Ann Lewis said, “As the backbone agency for the Central Oregon Parenting Education HUB, we are thrilled to be able to continue to provide regional support to families.”

The grant is part of a multi-year initiative developed by the Oregon Community Foundation in partnership with the Meyer Memorial Trust, The Ford Family Foundation, The Collins Foundation and Oregon State University.
