ODOT invites public to ‘online open house’

KTVZ

The Oregon Transportation Commission wants your input on how Oregon prioritizes transportation investments in the 2021-2024 Statewide Transportation Investment Program (STIP).

The Statewide Transportation Improvement Program is the Oregon Department of Transportation’s capital improvement program for state and federally funded projects. The Oregon Transportation Commission and ODOT develop the STIP in coordination with a wide range of stakeholders and the public. Learn about possible investments and give feedback on the type of projects important to you.

The OTC is considering three scenarios for allocating funding to Fix-It and Enhance Programs. The scenarios differ on whether to put more emphasis on – and federal money into – maintaining existing roads, or improving roads to handle more traffic.

Visit the online open house to tell ODOT which scenario you prefer and why. Your feedback will help guide the Oregon Transportation Commission as it decides how to allocate funding to projects in Oregon.
