KTVZ to air Thursday Night Football: Seattle at Arizona
NBC takes the Thursday Night Football reins Thursday evening, starting with the Arizona Cardinals hosting the Seattle Seahawks — but it also happens to be the day of Ellen’s big 2,500th show.
As a result, because there are so many fans of Ellen who watch NewsChannel 21, we will have a special airing of that 2,500th show for viewers to record, from 3-4 a.m. Friday. Ellen fans should set their DVRs to record this special program.
A month of Thursday Night Football also means NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt will air at 4 p.m. Thursday, followed by Football Night in America and the big game.
As a result, for the next month or so, our Thursday evening NewsChannel 21 at Six will air on KFXO, instead of KTVZ. Our 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. KTVZ newscasts are preempted. So join us for the latest news, sports and Local Alert Weather at 4, 6 and 10 p.m. on KFXO, as well as our 11 p.m. newscast on KTVZ (NBC).
