Local Alert Weather, Mon., 12.18.17

KTVZ

Good Monday Morning, Everyone…

Moisture pushing into the Pacific NW will give areas to our north a chance of showers today. The resto of us will see mostly cloudy to partly cloudy skies. Highs will be in the upper 40’s and southerly breezes will be gentle at 5-10 mph.

Those breezes will be even lighter tonight. Lows will drop to freezing and a little below under mostly cloudy skies.

Tuesday promises to be around 50 degrees with rain showers building in the afternoon. Precipitation will continue into Tuesday night, but it is likely to turn to snow as temps drop into the 20’s. Snow showers will taper off through Wednesday morning. Behind the front responsible for the showers is a cold body of air. Though we see some gradual clearing through the rest of the week and into the weekend, our daytime highs will not get much warmer than the mid 30’s. Overnight lows will be dropping well down into the teens.

HAVE A SPARKLING DAY IN CENTRAL OREGON!
