Medford chiropractor accused of sexually touching patients
MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) – A Medford chiropractor has been accused of sexually touching female patients.
The Medford Police Department said in a news release that 53-year-old Scott Cooper was arrested Wednesday on charges sexual abuse and sexual harassment. The alleged victims are between the ages of 17 and 32.
Medford police began an investigation after three women reported that Cooper inappropriately touched them during sessions between October 2017 and January 2018.
A fourth woman came forward after Cooper’s arrest.
It’s unknown if Cooper has retained an attorney or will be assigned a public defender at his first court appearance. He remained on the Jackson County Jail roster Thursday morning.
