Local Alert Weather 0123 PM
Hello Central Oregon!
A dry day with partly cloudy skies, snowy conditions along the mountains. Today daytime highs were in the upper 40’s. Tonight, lows won’t be as cold as they have been in the upper 30’s. There’s a 50 percent chance of scattered rain showers.
Wednesday another storm will push through and it will be stronger than todays. Rain is likely throughout the afternoon. A 70 percent chance of showers. Temperatures will once again be in the upper 40’s. Winds will be strong about about 20 miles per hour. Wednesday night a cold front will move through, which will cause temperatures to drop to the upper 20’s with snow levels falling.
Therefore, turning to Thursday showers will turn to snow. There’s only a 50 percent chance so it won’t be a major snow event for us, but a different story for the mountains. temperatures will be in the low 40’s both Thursday and Friday. A chance of snow will linger into Friday as well.
Saturday, temperatures will warm back into the mid 40’s and snow levels will rise. Therefore, we have a chance of mixed showers. That will continue into Sunday.
Monday conditions begin to dry with mild temperatures.
