Local Alert Weather, Fri. AM, 2.9.18
Good Friday Morning, Everyone…
As we are sitting at the northern edge of a strong high pressure cell we are expecting are pretty mild day. We will see a few clouds that will not yield any showers. Highs will be in the upper 40’s to low 50’s and NW breezes will be gentle at 5-10 mph.
Skies will stay mostly clear tonight. That along with an invasion of colder air, will take our overnight lows to the low to mid 20’s; some upper elevations are expected to drop into the teens. Breezes will turn northerly and stay gentle at 5-10 mph.
Daytime highs will stay around our average of 46 degrees for the following few days. Do be prepared for overnight lows staying in the teens and low 20’s. Late Sunday, overnight and into Monday morning is the only period where we expect to see any showers. It is not expected to be very heavy, however, with Sunday night’s lows dropping into the 20’s, a little snow will mix in with the potential showers.
HAVE A SPARKLING DAY IN CENTRAL OREGON!
