Local Alert Weather 0210 PM

KTVZ

Hello Central Oregon!

A nice, sunny and chilly Saturday. Temperatures were in the mid 40’s, which is right around average, but cooler from the temperatures we’ve had earlier in the week. Tonight we’ll remain with our mostly clear skies, which will cause the heat from the day to rise quickly, leaving us with cold overnight lows. Temperatures will drop in the low to mid 20’s.

Tomorrow skies will be mostly cloudy. There’s a slight chance of snow showers in the afternoon as snow levels drop. This will be a good snow day for the mountains. About an inch or two of fresh snow by Monday morning. Temperatures will be around average still in the low to mid 40’s.

Monday skies will clear up, but temperatures will only be in the mid to upper 30’s with overnight lows in the teens. Monday will be the coldest day of the week. Tuesday temperatures will begin to rise back into the low to mid 50’s with partly cloudy skies continuing throughout the rest of the week.
