Local Alert Weather 0211 PM

KTVZ

Hello everyone!

An overcast day with temperatures slightly below average. Daytime highs were only in the upper 30’s. A low pressure system is sitting on top of Oregon at the moment. It will continue to rotate on top of the state. Around seven o’clock there’s a 60 percent chance of snow showers. If it hits the snowfall will be fairly heavy for Sisters, Bend, and Sunriver until ten o’clock. This will leave an inch of snow for both Sisters and Sunriver, two inches in Bend, and almost an inch in La Pine. Overnight lows will be very cold in the teens to lower 20’s.

Tomorrow daytime highs will be cold again. Only in the mid to upper 30’s. Winds will be strong throughout the morning and afternoon at 15 miles per hour. Overnight lows almost in the single digits. Skies will clear by the afternoon and continue to stay that way both Monday and Tuesday.

Clouds will begin to push in by the middle of the week. Temperatures will also warm above average in the low to mid 50’s. Conditions will remain dry until Saturday when we have a chance of snow showers returning to the region.
