Local Alert Weather – Wed. PM

KTVZ

Happy Wednesday evening, everyone!

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in effect from 10 p.m. to noon tomorrow for expected snow showers and snow likely accumulating by tomorrow morning. Many areas will see less than we did last night. Overnight lows will fall into the teens. Mostly cloudy skies will be overhead apart from the snow showers.

Tomorrow morning will wake up to a new dusting of snow, so plan on icy roads and some areas of packed snow. Daytime highs will be in the mid to upper 20s. Winds will be out of the northwest around 15 miles per hour. Throughout the day we will see a gradual clearing, but we are left with the chance for a few snow showers.

Friday will see mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. Daytime highs will be in the mid to upper 30s, which is still well below average. Our average daytime high is 48 degrees.

The next system will roll in by the weekend, but this one will be more mild with highs in the upper 30s and mid 40s. Winds will kick up Saturday and we could see some snow showers. A rain/snow mix is likely on Sunday.
