Local Alert Weather – Mon. PM
Happy Monday evening, everyone!
Roads will be icy and/or slick tonight as temperatures will be well below the freezing mark. The snow we saw this morning quickly melted in many spots under the sunshine we saw today, but overnight will return to a sheet of ice. Lows will be in the single digits and teens for many. Skies will be between partly cloudy to mostly clear.
Tomorrow begins with some sunshine and a few clouds. We’ll be off to another cold, frosty start, so allow yourself some extra time to get out the door and warm the car. Daytime highs will be in the upper 30s and lower 40s, which is closer to average, but not quite there! Mostly sunny skies will see partly cloudy skies at times.
Overnight Tuesday into Wednesday clouds will increase and overnight lows will be much more mild. Lows will be in the low to mid 20s.
Wednesday wakes up to mostly cloudy skies and will be under clouds throughout the day. There’s a slight chance for some showers, but we’ll be mainly dry. Winds will be breezy at times ahead of the next system pushing into the region. Highs will be in the low to mid 40s.
By Thursday we could see some snow showers back on the High Desert meaning roads would return to slippery conditions. Highs will drop into the upper 30s and lower 40s.
