Local Alert Weather, Tue. AM, 2.27.18
Good Tuesday Morning, Everyone…
Following a clear and cold start to the day we will see our skies steadily cloud over. Beginning in the north and NW those clouds will bring a chance of showers. Central Oregon will see increased clouds accompanied by highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s and gentle southerly winds at 5-10 mph.
Under mostly cloudy skies we will see pretty average overnight lows. It will feel pretty chilly, but the mid 20’s is typical for this time of year. Breezes tonight will be gentle out of the SW.
The increase in clouds is due to a storm system that is pressing into the Pacific NW. That system will bring 9-18 inches of fresh snow to the Cascades over the next 72 hours. For Central Oregon this will mean mixed showers through the middle of the week and a chance of showers going into the weekend. This will break Sunday and we can expect pretty fair conditions coming out of the weekend and going into next week.
HAVE A SPARKLING DAY IN CENTRAL OREGON!
