Local Alert Weather – Wed. PM

Happy Wednesday evening, everyone!
We’ll see mostly cloudy skies with winds out of the west tonight as the next system pushes inland. Rain showers are expected to arrive overnight. Showers are going to be scattered and light. Lows will be mild in the upper 30s and lower 40s.
Beginning tomorrow morning we will see some scattered showers across the area. Chances for showers will pick up by the afternoon. Winds will be out of the southwest around 15 miles per hour. We’ll see mostly cloudy skies apart from the rain showers. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 50s, which is right around average.
Shower activity will stay with us into Friday. Overnight lows Thursday will be in the mid to upper 30s again, so quite mild. Friday will see mostly cloudy skies and rain showers. Temperatures will be in the lower 60s.
Heading into the weekend our winds will kick up out of the southwest around 25 miles per hour with gusts around 40. I wouldn’t be surprised if the National Weather Service issues a Wind Advisory or High Wind Warning by that time. Rain showers are expected on Saturday with a chance for showers lingering on Sunday. Highs this weekend will be in the mid to upper 50s.
