Local Alert Weather 0406
Hello, Central Oregon!
It’s been a pleasant day! Daytime highs in the mid 60’s and mostly cloudy skies. This evening rain showers will become fairly heavy and could turn into thunderstorms along the Cascades. Overnight our temperatures will remain warm with low’s in the upper 40’s to lower 50’s.
Saturday morning we’ll wake up to partly cloudy skies, but rain showers will return to the region as a cold front passes through. The greatest chance for showers will be in the morning. We’ll remain cloudy throughout the rest of the day. The big story tomorrow is the winds. Winds will be strong with the storm and a wind advisory will be in place throughout the day. Wind gusts will be up to 55 miles per hour. Daytime highs will be in the mid 50’s throughout the weekend. The chance of rain showers lessens Sunday, but our skies will remain cloudy.
Monday we have a brief break from the rain showers. Our skies will still be cloudy, but temperatures will be warm and near record breaking in the upper 60’s to low 70’s.
Tuesday another cold front passes through, which will knock our temperatures back to the low to mid 50’s for daytime highs. Rain will return Tuesday and could stick around for the rest of the week ahead.
