Friday PM Local Alert Weather Forecast

KTVZ

Happy Friday Central Oregon!

Cool temperatures and windy weather for us once again today.

The Cascades received quite a bit of new snow in the past 24 hours, and they could still get some more snow this evening and overnight as this storm continues to pass through the region.

There is a chance that we could see some isolated rain or snow showers here in Central Oregon as well.

With this system we have seen windy conditions and that was the case again today as wind was out of the southwest at 10-15 MPH gusting up around 20 MPH.

The wind will die down overnight but then pick back up again tomorrow.

Overnight tonight lows will be in the 30’s on the high desert.

Saturday looks to be a dry day with partly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 50’s to low 60’s.

The rain and snow is set to return by Sunday though, and a cool start to next week is ahead.
