Local Alert Weather – Tues. AM
Happy Tuesday morning, everyone!
We’re off to a chilly start this morning, and you’ll want to have your jacket handy all day. More sunshine is ahead compared to what we saw yesterday. Winds will still be breezy at times out of the west gusting around 25 miles per hour. Temperatures will still be 10 degrees below average. We’ll top out in the upper 40s and lower 50s.
The Cascades will see off and on snow showers throughout the day. Winds will be gusty if you are going up to the mountain, so expect low visibility at times. Temperatures will be nice and cold in the 20s. Mt. Bachelor could see a few inches of snow.
Overnight into Wednesday the next system will move into the region bringing more snow showers to the Cascades with a chance for mixed showers in Central Oregon. Overall, we’ll be dry with mostly cloudy skies overhead. Lows will be around average in the upper 20s and lower 30s.
Wednesday sees the chance for scattered mixed showers extending through the overnight into Thursday. Mostly cloudy skies will be overhead. Temperatures will still be chilly in the upper 40s and lower 50s.
Heading into the weekend we’ll start to see more sunshine and a gradual warming trend. Highs will be in the low to mid 60s, which brings us back to average. This weekend will feel more like spring!
