Monday PM Local Alert Weather Forecast

KTVZ

Good evening Central Oregon!

A very spring like day for us today on the high desert. we saw temperatures in the 60’s and plenty of sunshine to go around across the region.

It was a bit breezy at times though, the wind is out of the northeast at 5-15 MPH and gusting up to 20 MPH at some points.

This dry and warm weather is all due to a an area of high pressure that has settled in over the Pacific Northwest.

This area of high pressure is going to stick around through the next few days keeping us warm this week.

Tonight thought he wind will continue and we will cool down as temperatures will drop to around the freezing mark.

Lows will be in the upper 20’s to 30’s.

Tomorrow is going to be a warm day on the High Desert with highs in the 70’s, and the wind will stick around tomorrow as well.

We will see this trend of sunny skies and warm weather hang around through the week.

Wednesday could bring with it some record breaking highs.

This area of high pressure will break down towards friday though as we cool down a bit and see a chance of some showers and even some thunderstorms.

A cool weekend is ahead for us so enjoy the warm weather while we have it!
