Here are the results of Monday’s KTVZ.COM poll, asking if it’s illegal in Oregon to have a dog on your lap when driving:

Is it illegal in Oregon to have a dog on your lap when driving?
Yes – 74% (525 votes)
No – 26% (189 votes)
Total Votes: 714

Answer: It is not illegal. However, a bill was introduced by state lawmakers to outlaw driving with a dog on your lap in 2017. That bill never made it to a vote.
