Local Alert Weather, Wed. AM, 5.9.18
Good Wednesday Morning, Everyone…
After a few scattered and isolated morning showers we will see some more clearing this afternoon. The passing of this storm system will leave us with cooler and more average temperatures. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60’s with westerly winds at 5-15 mph.
Under partly cloudy skies, tonight’s lows will be in the upper 30’s to low 40’s. Winds will stay a little brisk out of the west at 5-15 mph.
Despite the fact that we will stay partly sunny for the next couple of days, the tail end of the current storm system will keep us chilly. Daytime highs Thursday and Friday will be in the low 60’s. Overnight lows will be down to the low 30’s. Be sure to care for sensitive plants and animals. A clearing and warming trend will continue into and through the weekend. Look for mostly sunny skies and temps around 80 for Mothers Day. The next showers are not expected until later in the day Tuesday.
HAVE A SPARKLING DAY IN CENTRAL OREGON!
