Local Alert Weather, Thu. AM, 5-10-18
Good Thursday Morning, Everyone…
We started the morning under very overcast skies, but it won’t be long before much of that breaks up. Calm winds this morning will pick up to 10-15 mph out of the NW and we can expect gusts as high as 20 mph this afternoon. Highs will only reach the low to mid 60’s under what will become mostly sunny skies.
Skies will become partly to mostly cloudy tonight. Overnight lows will get down close to and in some places below, freezing, so protect sensitive plants and animals before retiring this evening. NW winds will pick up to 10-20 mph with gusts to 30 mph.
Friday will be another very cool day. To that we will add a chance of some scattered late day showers. A clearing and warming trend will begin Saturday and that will take us into Sunday, Mothers Day, expecting to see highs in the upper 70’s under mostly sunny skies. We will stay warm and fairly sunny until the middle of the week when we will see the next round of showers to push through.
HAVE A SPARKLING DAY IN CENTRAL OREGON!
