Local Alert Weather, Fri. AM, 5-11-18
Good Friday Morning, Everyone…
A northerly flow will keep us pretty cool today and a chance of showers will dissipate leaving us under partly cloudy skies. Highs will only reach the upper 50’s to lower 60’s. Expect northerly winds at 10-20 mph to gust as high as 30 mph. After a breezy evening those northerly winds will decrease to 5-10 mph after midnight. We will stay partly cloudy tonight and lows will drop back into the 30’s.
The same ridge of high pressure that is now responsible for bringing us this chilly, wet spell will make its way eastward, clear our skies and bring warmer days back to the High Desert. Saturday may see a few thin clouds but highs will climb back into the low 70’s. Sunday, Mothers Day, will see highs in the upper 70’s and thermometers will reach the low 80’s Monday. We will stay warm for the balance of the work week with only a slight chance of isolated showers Wednesday and Thursday.
