Local Alert Weather, Mon. AM, 5.14.18
Good Monday Morning, Everyone…
A strong cell of high pressure directly over the Pacific NW will deliver a sunny, warm day to the High Desert today. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to low 80’s and breezes out of the NE will be gentle at 5-10 mph. We may see a few light clouds tonight, however, under mostly clear skies temps will stay pretty mild. Lows will range from the mid 40’s to low 50’s. Breezes will become light and variable by morning.
That high pressure cell will weaken Tuesday and allow some moisture to move in over more temps in the 80’s. With that we will see a chance of thunderstorms developing over much of the region. The next system will roll in Wednesday and bring a chance of rain showers along with cooler temperatures. We will cling to a slight chance of some isolated showers right through the end of the work week and the weekend ahead.
