Local Alert Weather, Tue. AM, 6.5.18

KTVZ

Good Tuesday Morning, Everyone…
With high pressure gaining strength over the region we can expect an abundance of sunshine today along with slightly warmer temperatures. Highs will be in the low to mid 70’s and breezes out of the west and NW will be gentle at 5-10 mph. Skies will stay mostly clear tonight. Lows will range from the mid 30’s to mid 40’s. Higher elevations be aware of potential freezing temps. Winds become light after midnight.
Temps will warm to around 80 degrees as we work through the middle of the week. We will see a slight and gradual increase in our cloud cover through Friday. The system responsible for that cloud increase will deliver a chance of showers Friday night and that chance of rain will increase a bit Saturday. A slight chance of showers will carry into Sunday. Temps for the weekend will back off into the lower 70’s. Central Oregon will see a lot of high school graduation celebrations this weekend. Keep an eye on the sky and be prepared to move that celebration inside. High pressure will then build back in and give us sunny skies to begin the new work week.

HAVE A SPARKLING DAY IN CENTRAL OREGON!
