Local Alert Weather – Wed. PM

KTVZ

Happy Wednesday evening, everyone!

High clouds have been with us throughout the day and will stay with us tonight. We’ll see mostly clear to partly cloudy skies overhead. Temperatures will be mild and above average in the mid to upper 40s. Winds will be out of the northwest around 15 miles per hour.

Tomorrow begins with mostly sunny skies, but we will see some clouds. More cloud will be overhead tomorrow than what we saw for today. Highs will be in the upper 70s and lower 80s, which is around where we were for today.

Winds will pick up on Thursday and that’s a sign that changes are on the way. Winds will gust around 25 miles per hour in the afternoon.

Friday will see windy conditions at times as well. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 70s. Increasing clouds are on the way ahead of the cool, wet system pushing into Oregon.

Showers develop overnight Friday into Saturday. Central Oregon can expect the chance for showers throughout the day, but should taper off by the evening. Temperatures will be much cooler in the mid to upper 50s, which is more than 10 degrees below average. Winds will still be breezy at times on Saturday.

Sunday will see about a 20 percent chance for showers. Other than that chance, Sunday will see mostly cloudy skies turning partly cloudy. Highs will be chilly in the mid to upper 50s and lower 60s.
