Local Alert Weather – Tues. PM
Happy Tuesday evening, everyone!
Through sunset tonight (which is 8:50!) we’ll be seeing some high clouds throughout Central Oregon. Temperatures will be in the upper 70s and lower 80s through 8 p.m. Winds will be out of the northwest about 10 to 15 miles per hour.
Tonight we’re looking at our mostly clear skies to turn to partly cloudy. Overnight lows will be a little above average in the low to mid 40s thanks to the heat we had today and the clouds rolling in. By tomorrow morning skies will be back to mostly sunny.
Wednesday sees the next system push into the Pacific Northwest. Western Oregon will see clouds and rain showers. The High Desert will see winds pick up, some clouds, and cooler temperatures. Highs will top out in the low to mid 70s, which is average. Winds will be gusty out of the northwest around 30 miles per hour, so know winds will be strong in the afternoon and evening.
Thursday and Friday both see a few clouds overhead with mild temperatures in the low to mid 70s. Winds won’t be nearly as strong on Thursday and Friday as they will be for tomorrow.
This weekend now welcomes a chance for rain showers on Saturday. Right now, it’s looking like a 30 percent chance for showers and a slight chance for thunderstorms. Highs will still be mild in the lower 70s.
Father’s Day is looking dry with partly cloudy skies. Highs will be average in the lower 70s.
