Local Alert Weather – Fri. PM
Happy Friday evening, everyone!
Winds will gust around 25 miles per hour tonight out of the north. Overnight we’re looking at mostly clear skies. Lows will be in the upper 30s and lower 40s, which is average for this time of year. We’ll be dry overnight, but off to a chilly start tomorrow morning.
Saturday brings a chance for some showers by the afternoon. Moisture develops in the afternoon east of the Cascades. Central Oregon sees the chance for thunderstorms in the afternoon as well. Highs will be a little shy of average in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Expect breezy conditions out of the north around 25 to 30 miles per hour.
Overnight into Sunday clouds stick around, so we wake up to clouds on Father’s Day. We have a chance for showers throughout the day, but will see calmer conditions by the evening. Overall, the weekend is expected to be dry, but we cannot rule out a couple stray showers or thunderstorms. Highs for Sunday will be a little warmer in the low to mid 70s.
The beginning of next week sets us up for a nice summer-like forecast; which is fitting as the first day of summer is Thursday! Highs will be in the 80s throughout the week and we will see mostly sunny skies. Lows will be in the upper 40s and lower 50s, so we don’t need to worry about covering up the plants!
Have a happy & safe weekend!
Happy Father’s Day!
