Local Alert Weather, Tue. AM, 6.19.18
Good Tuesday Morning, Everyone…
As storm activity weakens and moves off to the east we will see our sunny skies and our temperatures both increase. Highs today will be in the low to mid 80’s and northerly breezes will be gentle at 5-10 mph. Skies will stay mostly clear tonight and those gentle northerly breezes in the evening will calm overnight. We will stay warm, as well, with lows ranging from the upper 40’s to low 50’s.
Wednesday promises to be the hottest day of the week with daytime highs getting close to 90 degrees. With a little moisture pressing in over those hot temps we will see a chance of some afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms. Rain showers are likely to stay with us through Wednesday night and taper off Thursday morning. Skies will partially clear Thursday afternoon and highs will reach the mid 80’s. Sunny skies will prevail through the weekend and into next week. Highs will continue to climb into the 80’s each day.
BTW…Summer officially begins Thursday, June 21 at 3:07 AM!
