Local Alert Weather – Wed. PM
Happy Wednesday evening, everyone!
Thunderstorms are widespread throughout the region this afternoon and this evening. We’ll see lightning, hail, heavy downpours, and gusty winds within these cells. Temperatures will cool dramatically with the passing showers as well. Once we get past midnight we’ll see calmer conditions.
Overnight clouds will gradually clear into mostly clear skies by the morning. Lows will be rather mild in the low to mid 50s.
Summer officially begins at 3:07 a.m. and we’ll see a summer-like forecast to follow!
Mostly sunny skies will extend through the afternoon tomorrow before clouds develop. We’ll see a slight chance for a few light showers and even an isolated thunderstorm for the Cascades. Highs will be above average and warm in the low to mid 80s. Winds will gust around 25 miles per hour out of the northwest.
The end of the week sees mostly sunny skies and warm temperatures. Our average daytime highs should be in the mid to upper 70s. We don’t fall to average until Tuesday.
Prepare with extra water now and grab the sunscreen for the weekend!
