Deschutes Dash brings road closures, detours

The Deschutes Dash will be staged at Riverbend Park on Saturday. Events include triathlons, duathlons, aquabike, and running events. The event is anticipating 650 participants plus spectators in Riverbend Park. Details can be found on the event website: www.deschutesdash.com .

Road closures and detours (see map for additional details)

The following roads are affected on Saturday from 7:00am until 12:00pm.

Detours will be set up to allow for access to local businesses, residents and emergency vehicles, but traffic may be delayed during this time.

Columbia Street closed from SW Colorado Avenue to Emkay Drive Closure on Century from Donovan to roundabout and small portion of SW Chandler to deter access to the roundabout on Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway Century/Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway closed from Columbia to Belay Drive. Local traffic only from Belay Drive (Westridge) to Skyline Ranch Road. Cross Traffic permitted by certified flaggers at Reed Market roundabout for traffic headed East and West bound on Reed Market/Mt. Washington Drive.

All traffic will be detoured through Tetherow to and from the Cascade Lakes Highway and the Mt. Bachelor area.
