Local Alert Weather – Tues. PM

KTVZ

Happy Tuesday evening, everyone!

Thunderstorm activity in southeast Deschutes County is expected to continue off towards the northeast. Central Oregon will see partly cloudy skies around sunset with smoky skies, too. Air quality levels have improved throughout the day, but smoke will settle closer to the surface overnight tonight and early tomorrow morning. Winds will gust around 20 miles per hour out of the north.

Overnight lows will be very mild in the upper 40s and low to mid 50s, which is above average. Mostly clear skies are on the way after midnight with hazy conditions by the morning.

Tomorrow brings another hot, hazy day. Highs will be in the mid to upper 90s. Sunshine will be overhead apart from the hazy skies.

Overall this is a dry, hazy, hot extended forecast. Make sure you are well hydrated and take time to rest when needed.

Stay cool!
