Local Alert Weather, Fri. AM, 8.24.18

KTVZ

Good Friday Morning, Everyone…
While we start our day with an unhealthy air quality for much of Central Oregon we can expect a little relief from seriously smoky conditions through the day. With clear skies our highs will stay a bit on the cool side, topping out in the mid 70’s. Gentle NW winds will pick up to a gusty 10-15 mph in the late afternoon and early evening. The Air Quality Alert now in place across the eastern half of our state is scheduled to be lifted at noon today…assuming the smoky conditions continue to clear. Mostly clear tonight with lows in the 40’s and light & variable winds.
Look for cool daytime highs in the 70’s to stay with us for the next few days, along with some scattered clouds. Beginning Tuesday sunny skies and highs in the low to mid 80’s will return.
