Thursday 9/13 PM Local Alert Weather
Clear skies started off our Thursday here in Central Oregon, but clouds developed across the region as we progressed through the day. The clouds are coming from a low-pressure system sitting off the coast and are moving east across the state.
The highest concentration of clouds and rain is west of the cascades with just a few sprinkled showers across the High Desert.
On Thursday, highs ranged from the low to high 60s, slightly warmer than Wednesday, but still well below average. Thursday night, lows will be chilly, ranging from the low 30s to the low 40s.
Friday morning, you might want to take a light jacket with you as you head out to school and work, with temperatures around the low 40s in the morning.
There’s a slight chance of rain overnight Saturday, with temperatures getting a little colder over the weekend. But a bit of a warm-up is due as we move into next week.
