Local Alert Weather – Fri. PM
Happy Friday evening, everyone!
We’ll see scattered rain showers through the overnight into tomorrow. Winds will be breezy at times gusting 20 miles per hour. If you’re headed out for Friday night activities I would wear a warm coat and have a hood handy.
Overnight lows will be above average due to the clouds and showers, so we’ll see temperatures in the upper 30s and lower 40s. Mostly cloudy skies will be overhead apart from rain showers.
Saturday begins with scattered rain showers and chilly temperatures. Expect a cool, drizzly start to the weekend, but we will see a clearing trend throughout the day. Rain showers will be just about done around noon and we’ll be dry, but cloudy, around 5 p.m. Highs for Saturday will be in the low to mid 50s, which is well below averages in the upper 60s.
Overnight into Sunday temperatures will be cold in the 20s and lower 30s. We’ll see partly cloudy to mostly clear skies. Sunday wakes up to partly cloudy skies and we’ll see mostly sunny skies in the afternoon. Highs will be slightly warmer in the upper 50s and lower 60s due to the sun.
Clouds and a slight chance for showers develop by Monday. Highs will be in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Winds will be breezy at times ahead of the next system moving into the region, which will be cooler temperatures.
Highs for the week ahead will be in the low to mid 50s and overnight lows will be in the upper 20s and lower 30s. Clouds will vary, but overall we’re looking at chilly daytime highs.
Have a happy & safe weekend!
