Local Alert Weather, Thu. AM, 10.11.18
Good Thursday Morning, Everyone…
Today we begin to see high pressure take a strong grip over the western United States. With that, what few clouds we have this morning will clear and we will be left under sunny skies. Highs will stay a bit on the cool side, only reaching the upper 50’s to low 60’s, and breezes will become light and variable. We will stay clear and cold tonight. Lows will be in the mid 20’s to low 30’s with calm winds.
For the next several days we will be experiencing what could be described as “cookie cutter” weather conditions. A very slow-moving ridge of high pressure will keep sunny days and clear nights in our forecast. Daytime highs will be in the 60’s and overnight lows will be in the 30’s. With some of those lows getting down to freezing and a bit below, frosty mornings will be a distinct possibility.
