Spokane high school targeted again in social media threat

KTVZ

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) – Police are investigating a social media threat made against a Spokane high school.

Spokane Public Schools sent a notice Sunday to parents at Lewis and Clark High School. The notice says a threat was made Saturday night via a social media post.

Police are working to identify the source and determine the credibility of the threat.

Officers will be at the school Monday.

In June, a student was arrested and accused of posting online threats against the school. Hundreds of students skipped school on two days because of the threat.

The high school in downtown Spokane has about 1,700 students.
