City of Bend to conduct community survey

KTVZ

The city of Bend is embarking on a statistically valid phone survey in early December to gather feedback about the city and city services. The phone calls will be made Dec. 6-12.

The survey should take about 10 minutes. Community participation will help the city set priorities. Survey results will be presented to the Bend City Council in January as they embark on their next round of biennial goal-setting.

Also, for those who don’t get randomly chosen for a call on a cell phone or a land line, the city will launch a similar online Community Survey at the same time as the phone calls are happening, so everyone can have an opportunity to provide input.

The online survey will be available in both English and Spanish between Dec. 10-22. Online survey results will complement the statistically valid phone survey and will also be shared with the City Council.

Watch bendoregon.gov for the online survey, or follow us on Facebook and Twitter, where we’ll also post links to the online survey.
