Local Alert Weather – Fri. PM
Happy Friday evening, everyone!
This evening we’ll see mostly cloudy skies with a slight chance for some flurries between now and midnight. Between midnight and the early morning hours we could also see a few mixed showers, but we’ll be mainly dry. IF we do see showers know the roads will be slick and surfaces will be icy as temperatures are cold.
Overnight look to see mostly cloudy skies apart from that slight chance for showers. Lows return back to average in the lower 20s. We’ll start our weekend with much warmer conditions than what we’ve been seeing lately.
Some snow showers will fall across the Cascades and the highest elevations. Mt. Bachelor will see around 1″ of snow overnight. Snow levels will be around 3,700′ tonight climbing to 4,800′ tomorrow morning.
Saturday begins with more mild temperatures in the low to mid 20s. We’ll see partly cloudy skies turning mostly sunny through the afternoon. Dry conditions are expected throughout the day and into tomorrow. Daytime highs will be in the low to mid 40s. Winds will be out of the southeast around 10 miles per hour.
We see dry conditions through Sunday for Central Oregon. Showers will return to the Cascades Sunday with a chance for mixed showers drifting into Central Oregon. Winds will pick up gusting 15 to 20 miles per hour. Highs will be in the upper 30s and lower 40s.
The next week sees temperatures around average in the upper 30s and lower 40s. There’s a chance for mixed showers Monday through Wednesday. Overnight lows will return to average as well in the lower 20s.
Have a happy & safe weekend!
