Police ID teen fatally shot near Vancouver

VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) – The Clark County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of a young man who was shot to death at a strip mall near Vancouver.

Eighteen-year-old Gage Allan Kiser was killed Monday in Hazel Dell.

Authorities said previously that they arrested a 17-year-old as an accomplice in the shooting.

Detectives said they located a vehicle that was seen driving away from the scene of the shooting Monday afternoon, and they identified the 17-year-old boy as the driver. He has been booked into the Clark County Juvenile Detention facility for investigation of being an accomplice to second-degree murder.

The sheriff’s office says the investigation is continuing.
